E Putin alla CNN: "Sul nuceare in Iran gli USA facciano da soli se non vogliono parlare con noi"
Nell'agenda che il presidente Sarkozy e il ministro Kouchner stannodefinendo in vista del vertice del Consiglio straordinario europeoconvocato per lunedì non ci sarebbero indicazioni per proporre sanzioninei confronti della Russia. L'indiscrezione giunge dall'emittenteradiofonica polacca.
Sempre la radio polacca riferisce di unadichiarazione del Ministro del'Economia russo, Guerman Gref, che haannunciato la possibilià che da lunedì Mosca ridurrà le forniture digas verso la Germania e la stessa Polonia.
Intanto il primo ministro Putin, in un'intervista alla CNN ha detto che "le nazioni occidentali dovranno risolvere da soli la questione delle ambizioni bucleari dell'Iran, senza l'aiut dela Russia se si rifiutano di cooperare con Mosca".
Dura accusa del Segretario di Stato, Condoleeza Rice, al Cremlino.

I have come here today to speak with you about a subject that's been on everyone's mind recently: Russia and U.S.-Russian relations. Most of us are familiar with the events of the past month. The causes of the conflict – particularly the dispute between Georgia and its breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia – are complex. They go back to the fall of the Soviet Union. And the United States and our allies have tried many times to help the parties resolve the dispute diplomatically.
